A ‘simply calla’ bouquet for a bridesmaid 

When Leah & I met for her floral consultation, it was very easy for me to catch her vision of an elegant ‘fairy tale’ wedding. Her selections personified that theme with blushes of pink and ivory blooms. Then on the day of, when I delivered her flowers, Leah showed me her dress. There it was still on it’s hanger, but so stunning and elegant for the princess that Leah was soon to become on that magical day of September 14, 2007 when she married her best friend Kulbir.

The setting. The flowers. The princess. The dress.

 

The couple exchanged their vows in the gorgeous setting of Minter Gardens which is one of my favorite venues for it’s natural beauty.  A lovely spot by the water was another scenic spot (I’m guessing Harrison Lake) where some of their formal photos were taken. What an awesome day it was for them, and what a pleasure it was for me to bring a little bit of fairy tale magic through flowers.

Bouquet magic with Vendella roses, pink cymbidium orchids and callas with that soft blush of pink. Diamante pins in a few roses added to the glamour!

Leah & Kulbir Banwait’s wedding took place at Minter Gardens in Chilliwack, BC.

Last we heard, they have one new addition to their family. An adorable little boy!
