The recent arrival of 2012 has also introduced a brand spankin’ new wedding season & I’m super excited to get started. This means a fresh palette of colors, combinations & gorgeous designs. Plus a new line up of brides sharing their floral wishes & dreams with me. Then the bookings that start filling spots on my calendar make me want to celebrate every time one is added. Oh yes, I really love this time of year (just not the weather)!

Something else I enjoy a lot is hobnobbing with other peeps in the wedding bizz – many of whom I highly respect for their expertise & talents. I’ve especially learned to value good relationships with event decorators who really know their stuff & offer great resources. Things I admire in a good decorator is a keen  fashion sense with colors, elements & trends that are always changing in the world of weddings & design. I also appreciate a decorator who is willing to listen to a client’s vision & help them work within a budget if necessary. Boy does that sound familiar{grin}.

Recommending top notch vendors to clients is very important to me because I believe making great memories starts with excellent resources.
