Barb was a wonderful florist for our wedding at Harrison Hot Springs. She guided us in choosing flowers that made our wedding look beautiful from the boutonnières and corsages to the bigger arrangements and centre pieces, not to mention the gorgeous bridal bouquet. We could see how she really cared about us as she hand delivered the flowers to Harrison and set them up for us. Barbs service was spectacular and her flower arrangements made our day even more beautiful.

Barb did my flowers for my wedding and in the craziness that led up to my BIG day I found Barb to be a breath of fresh air that helped me to completely relax. She was very specific in the details of each bouquet all the way down to the glitter and jewels for the centers of the flowers!! I had SOOO many people comment on how absolutely beautiful my flowers were! I am not a calm and relaxed person by nature so during the picture time I was throwing my arms up and jumping around with my bouquet and at the end of the day it looked the exact same as when I had got it that morning! Barb did an incredible job of taking my ideas and making them reality! I had a black & white wedding and the flowers were the only colors – and WOW did they stand out!!! We were very excited to have Barb do our wedding flowers, not only because of her talent, but also because she is my aunt. I did not know a whole lot about flowers and design, but I had a picture of the colors and style we wanted. I was so impressed with the ideas and combinations Aunt Barb offered as well as help in determining the best look. She was a great help and had an excellent view for what would make our day absolutely memorable. The time and effort spent on our arrangements spoke for themselves. We had many, many compliments the day of the wedding on the beautiful bouquets and sprays. We were very happy with the final presentation, and we highly recommend Barb’s service to anyone! She took so much care into making everything perfect and the flowers were so fresh and vibrant! They were wonderful! When my future husband and I met with Barbara at her home we were treated with such grace and hospitality, including a wonderful afternoon tea. What a great start to planning our wedding flowers. I must admit, being a very knowledgeable ‘flower person’ that I had very specific ideas about what flowers we wanted for our wedding. Barbara listened to our requests, made very helpful suggestions and the end result – beautiful, spectacular, elegant and most fitting to the heritage Chapel and reception site. From the magnificent vases of calla lilies in the Chapel, to the attendants bouquets, the corsages, boutonnières, the posy of stephanotis on the wedding cake – they were all so fresh and so well executed in style and colour. And my bouquet left me speechless! It was such a wonderful sight to behold this most magnificent bouquet of white phalenopsis orchids and stephanotis. The perfume was spell binding. Absolutely awesome. Barbara is one of the greatest floral designers I have ever worked with – she puts her whole heart and soul into making your floral dreams come true. Barb, Jacqueline and I want to convey our absolute complete satisfaction with your floral creations designed for our wedding this past August at the Langley Golf and Banquet Centre. We left your residence in the Spring feeling that all the bases had been covered for our arrangements in a process we really had little control over. As you had explained, the ability to know what blooms would actually be available to coordinate with the exotics was not going to be known exactly until closer to the event. We were stunned by not only the beauty of the floral displays Barb, but also the degree of professional and personalized creative finishing you employed. No detail was left out. From the satin bindings that wrapped the bride’s bouquets and the pearl pins that fixed them in place, to the uniqueness of the table arrangements and powder room centerpiece, all were exquisitely presented. Many of our guests left with coveted blooms from their tables and reported that they were still being enjoyed weeks later – a testimonial to their satisfaction as well. Simple thanks could never begin to convey our appreciation of your support in fulfilling our dream of a picture perfect day from beginning to end. Floral arranging is a special form of visual art. In the Japanese culture it is called “ichibana” ~translated~ The Art of Flower arrangement and true art comes from the heart, reveals the heart, and speaks to the heart. Barb decorated our Missions Dinner last year and did a beautiful job. She was so good about listening to what our theme was and created beautiful center pieces. She also made a large bouquet for the podium in which everyone commented. And her price was so reasonable and affordable for our budget. We have again asked Barb to decorate for our dinner this February and I am really looking forward to working with her. Her ideas are so fresh and always so on track with what we hope to achieve for our themes. I highly recommend Barb for your flower needs!!

Barb’s hand designed floral arrangements are beautiful! She has an eye for detail, and gives me what I expect … the best! Barb, your intuition when it comes to flowers is astounding! My favourite bridal bouquet is ‘Victorian Charm’. Gorgeous! Makes me want to get married. <grin> I love the softness of ‘Fit for a Princess’, anything you make with peonies, and the stunning beauty of ‘Romantic Blush’! Floral design, from your perspective, and it clearly shows, is an art. I can’t see why anyone would go anywhere else for their special wedding flowers.
