Cherries Jubilee

Forty eight milk bottles in groupings filled with cozy shades of spray roses & bright alstroemeria jazzed up the guest tables beautifully at Stephanie & Tyler’s down-on-the-farm-themed wedding reception out in Agassiz – making it uniquely memorable. The vintage bottles were also an apropeaux ‘salute’ to the dairy farmers who attended the celebration. I could only envision it all & was sure it looked really neat!

I was kinda bummed that I couldn’t deliver the flowers to either the ‘farm’ or to the gorgeous Harrison Resort Hotel (where the ceremony took place) on the day of. But I remember how crrrrazy busy I was that weekend in May – it was absolutely nuts around here with 3 events to create for!!

Stephanie’s color choices of bold cherry reds & tantalizing oranges really rocked in the personal flowers too. She was totally on board with some unique textures in her bouquet, so the ‘funky’ celosia or ‘brain flower’ I put in fit the bill perfectly.

Cherry brandy roses, red alstro & hypericum berries, burnt orange freesia & fuchsia red celosia in Steph’s bouquet were the ingredients for these show-stopping beauties. I love the frilly edges of the roses in Steph’s.

Doing these flowers was real fun for me & I’m glad I was able to create some beautiful memories for these fun-loving newlyweds who, by the way, moved to Manitoba after the wedding.

Wishing this adorable pair a lifetime of happiness & many free spirited moments – like sittin’ in a tree together! Hey thanks Stephanie for letting me be a part of your special day through the magic of flowers. I wish I could have actually been there – it looks like you & Tyler had a blast!
