The August Wedding Bunch!

Moving right along, we’re soon into August (can hardly believe it). And that means a bunch more weddings on the horizon for us to design for.

Starting off the month  right - on the 1st – were Deborah & Marek  who chose a very trendy color combo of the 2010 season.  Aqua blue & white with accents of  chocolate brown  certainly made a splash.

Then, we have a two events to rave about a couple of weeks later. August 13th will mark the spot for Michelle & Gregory to celebrate their vows. A very exciting color palette of eggplant purple, deep fuchsia, tiger lily orange, warm chartreuse, and burnt orange will certainly add unforgettable memories to their day.

August the 14th will be Jennifer & Jeff’s turn in the limelight with a much more subdued palette to surround them on that magical day. But oh, so classically elegant in black and white.

And finally, we’ll have the pleasure to create for Meagen & Brett’s event on August 21st. Theirs will be a sure hit with shades of light pink, hot pink, raspberry red to burgundy red, along with white &  ivory for  beautiful contrast.

May you all have smooth sailing and skies of blue!

Joyfully, July

Wedding bells have been joyfully ringing for four of our brides throughout the month of July.

The festivities began when Debbie and Warren are joined in marriage on July 3rd. A color scheme of black and white was  punctuated with purple – from deep rich shades to softer lavenders. Stunning!

We then had the pleasure of serving two couples the following weekend. Katie & John were first up on July 9th, beautifully surrounded by a fresh & lively palette of white, bright green, sky blue, cornflower blue and accents of royal blue.

Next up were Kara & Mike on July 10th. Vivid colors of orange, yellow, hot pink and shades of purple warmed up their occasion perfectly.

Then after a brief respite, and we’ll be busy again to design for Laura & Dan who’s nuptials are anticipated for July 31st.  Lighter shades of  yellow  will team up with ivory, mauve, and a touch of darker purple for emphasis.

We wish you all much joy as you plan.  And congrats from us to those who’ve already tied the knot!
