Amy’s Dance

Amy & Shawn – an adorable couple!

The color pink for weddings still remains a popular choice for brides. Not only for it’s feminine appeal, but for it’s softer and more subtle romantic allure than say, red. It most definitely appealed to my client, Amy, where her magical day was concerned. Due to her bubbly personality I envisioned her wedding as the dance of a beautiful ballerina happily ensconced by her favorite color of pink, while making her grand event a real signature celebration & having a blast. I do believe she succeeded!

Pink & white created the perfect ambiance for the ball

Pretty much any shade of pink was a go where her flowers were concerned, but there was one favored shade AND flower that was a must for her bouquet. Raspberry pink gerber daisies! Amy brought me a ‘sample’ bloom which I showed to my flower guy and, voila, we were able to get the exact ones for her.

A beautiful medly of pink shades included the bride’s ‘must have’ hot raspberry pink gerbers, glammed up a bit with diamantes. Compliments of white blooms rounded out ‘Amy’s Dance’ bouquet, while all the stems were bound with pastel pink satin ribbon.

Umm guys, those are for the GIRLS!

Ooolala! The belles of the ball who attended the bride carried hand tie posies of  bi-colored carnations, light pink spider mums, freesias and white gerber daisies with a bit of pink glitz in the center of their black ‘eyes’.

Amy is so adorable and was such a pleasure to work with, but she did have me hopping on her big day with three delivery destinations. However, my hubs and I were a well oiled machine, making the designated stops, as well as a second wedding delivery in the city that same afternoon – all on a delightful note. Oh, I was wiped, but the sense of accomplishment I felt was incredibly rewarding as I thought of Amy kicking up her heels with her new husband Shawn.  If the images of their special occasion are any indication, I would guess that they had a phenomenal ‘dance’ that day and one that will last a life time!

The new Mr. & Mrs. hamming it up!

Shawn & Amy Synesael tied the knot on July 18, 2009 at Newton Fellowship Baptist Church & then partied at the Pacific Inn in White Rock, BC

Wishing this truly fun loving couple the most amazing ‘dance of life’!
